    Hi there,

We’re the Harry Edwards Healing Sanctuary based in a beautiful Victorian manor house in Shere, near Guildford, overlooking the glorious Surrey Hills. We were founded in 1946 by the world renowned spiritual healer Harry Edwards. The Sanctuary is dedicated to promoting health and wellbeing through our healing service and ensuring professional standards of healer training and practice.
Our charitable status was established in 1966 and we continue to serve the public as an internationally recognised healing centre.
We also offer support to those suffering from cancer via our in-house centre, Bluebells, and we also hold regular support groups for Carers called ‘Time for You’ (our current group includes those with loved ones affected by autism / cancer / Alzheimer’s)
We run very popular one day and 3 day retreats as well, for people looking to take time out from their busy lives, and simply relax in a beautiful, nurturing environment.
Whether you are suffering from stress, emotional or physical illness or simply need some time out, healing at the Sanctuary offers an oasis of calm. Our qualified, fully registered healers are a caring and sympathetic group of people, and you don’t need to ‘believe’ in any kind of spiritual or religious system to benefit from this simple energy therapy.
Finally, unlike many complementary therapy establishments, we do not charge for our services, we simply rely on the kind donations of those who are able to contribute.
