Cellar Wines – Artisan Spirits, Boutique Wines, Delicatessen & Events is in one of Ripley’s historic 15th century buildings on the High Street at The Old Cellar. The Ripley Boutique has a relaxed and informal atmosphere and has been kitted out in a quirky and eclectic style using old furniture, wardrobes, dressers, even trunk suitcases along with some very comfy spaces to relax!

The Boutique with its very own wine cellar is full of high quality wines, a constantly extending wine bin, specialist cigars and a delicatessen with an ever-developing range of delicious meats, cheeses, olives, chutneys and fine foods.

Wine tasting evenings, supper clubs and pop-up restaurants, as well as making the Boutique available for Corporate, Private and Celebration events, or even just pop in and enjoy one of our delicious glasses of wine with one of our lovely cheeseboards!

Did you know… our historic 15th century building is one of the oldest buildings in Ripley. Being an important stop and Coach House for the London to Portsmouth route. The building also has a blue plaque outside… As former pharmacy for over 100 years it had chemist Kenneth White resident there during World War II. Kenneth was go getter and nothing seemed to stop him, which led him to being the first person to manufacture penicillin for civilian use, yes the ‘wonder drug’ made in Ripley! Kenneth was the first to make it available to us the general population (some have said even the World!).

As well as the old building and blue plaque, we have pictures and reading materials in the boutique regarding the amazing work that Kenneth did, pop by and have a look at this too!
